Your data, explained clearly.

If you create an account, we may receive an account identifier, your name and email address where supplied by the sign-in provider, and public profile details you choose to add, including an optional Instagram username. Your Instagram username is displayed publicly and links to your Instagram profile.

In-app support is provided through Crisp. We do not send your Discover or Apple account identity to Crisp. Crisp may process a support-session identifier and ordinary network information, plus any messages, attachments and contact details you choose to provide. A problem report includes app version, iOS version and device model only when you turn on Include technical details.

The app communicates with supported cameras over a wired connection to read and write custom recipe settings and, in Studio, to ask a compatible camera to process a RAF file. Camera commands and locally saved recipes remain on your device unless you deliberately use a sharing feature.

Photos, sample images, RAF files, rendered JPEGs and their available metadata are used to provide the features you request. Importing a file or browsing a connected camera does not make it public.

If you explicitly enable Share Diagnostics in Profile, choose the optional first-launch setting, or accept the one-time prompt for an unsupported camera, the app sends a limited technical report when it recognises a new camera protocol fingerprint. This helps identify model and firmware differences, improve compatibility and prioritise testing. Camera features remain available if you do not enable sharing.

For an unsupported camera, read-only checks may report the camera model and firmware, USB mode and non-unique product type; supported protocol, command and property codes; static property descriptions; response or rejection codes; the RAW-settings packet size and format version when separately read during normal use; and the app version and iOS major version.

These reports do not contain photos, RAFs, thumbnails, EXIF, camera serial numbers, filenames, recipe names or settings, current or factory property values, raw property payloads, camera slot contents, Library content, account identifiers, or a persistent device or installation identifier. Supabase transports and stores the report and may process ordinary network connection data under its own privacy terms.

If you explicitly enable Share Reliability Diagnostics in Profile, the app may send limited crash and technical reports about camera connection, slots or rendering failures. Reports may contain the app version, iOS version, device model and a non-content error category. They do not include photos, RAFs, thumbnails, filenames, recipe names or settings, camera serial numbers, account information, screenshots, recordings, UI view hierarchies, or a persistent installation identifier.

Your recipe library, folders, and Studio files are stored locally on your device.

Export Library creates a file at a location you choose, optionally excluding photos. Importing a backup replaces the current local recipe library after confirmation.

Recipes, profile details, descriptions, tags and photos you deliberately submit to Discover may be stored by our service provider, checked against automated publication safeguards, and shown publicly. We may remove content that violates our Terms or receives a credible report. Where a photo contains location metadata, the app uses only the country; it does not publish or retain precise GPS coordinates for Discover. Download records, tag votes, reports and hidden-creator choices may be associated with an anonymous or signed-in account so those actions work reliably and are not counted repeatedly. Do not submit private information or content you do not have permission to share.

Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple; we receive product and entitlement status needed to unlock features but not your full payment-card details. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, StoreKit and system camera/file frameworks. Supabase may provide Discover authentication, database and media storage, Sentry may process optional reliability diagnostics, and Crisp provides in-app support conversations. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

This website uses no advertising, marketing cookies, newsletter forms or external fonts. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregated visits and performance without advertising cookies or individual visitor tracking. Hosting providers may retain limited security and request logs under their operational policies.

Local content remains until you delete it, replace the library or remove the app. Community and account data is retained while needed to provide the service, resolve reports, meet legal obligations and maintain backups. Support conversations and attachments are retained by Crisp until you ask us to delete them, or we no longer need them to provide support, subject to legal obligations and backups. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

You can export or delete local content, turn off camera compatibility sharing, remove submissions where supported, sign out, hide creators, request account deletion in the app, or ask us to delete a support conversation at support@fujirecipestudio.com. Turning sharing off stops future compatibility reports; earlier reports normally cannot be identified as yours because they contain no account or persistent installation identifier.

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child supplied personal information.
