You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or guardian must review and agree to them for you. You may use the app only where doing so is lawful.

Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control in accordance with App Store usage rules. The app is licensed, not sold.

The app communicates with cameras using USB, PTP and model-specific or reverse-engineered operations. It is not camera firmware, an authorised repair tool, or a substitute for the camera manufacturer’s software or instructions. Compatibility varies by camera model, region, firmware, sensor, USB mode, iPhone, iOS version, cable, adapter, hub, battery level and other connected software.

Reading, writing, importing, rendering or resetting can fail, time out, return incomplete data, apply an unexpected value, or be interrupted. Writing a recipe can overwrite the selected C1–C7 slot and existing settings. Back up camera settings and important files, confirm the destination slot, use a suitable direct data connection and stable power, and do not disconnect or let either device sleep during an active operation.

You choose whether to issue every camera-changing command and assume the risks inherent in connecting and controlling your own camera and accessories. Stop using the feature if the camera, cable, phone or app behaves unexpectedly.

You may choose to share limited camera compatibility diagnostics to help improve support for camera models and firmware versions. This sharing is optional, is not required for camera features, and can be disabled at any time in Profile. Compatibility observations are informational and do not certify a camera, guarantee support or create a warranty.

Camera-side RAF conversion requires a compatible RAF and generally the same supported camera model that created it. Previews, matching percentages, extracted settings, suggested tags, recipe differences and colour descriptions are estimates and are not a guarantee of the camera’s output. Keep independent originals and backups, verify every output before relying on it, and ensure you have all necessary permissions for every image and file you import, process, export or share.

You are responsible for maintaining current, independently tested backups of recipes, folders, camera settings, photos, RAF files, rendered files and other important content. The app is not an archival or guaranteed backup service. Device loss, storage pressure, failed migration, file corruption, account changes or software defects may cause data loss. Importing a library backup replaces the current library after confirmation and may not be reversible.

You retain ownership of recipes and photographs you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce and display submitted content as necessary to operate, safeguard, moderate and promote the community service. You confirm that you own or have permission to submit it.

Community content is supplied by users. We do not guarantee its authorship, originality, safety, legality, accuracy, compatibility, quality or results. Discover uses automated publication safeguards, and users can report content or block creators. We may review, reject, restrict or remove content and accounts to protect users, respond to credible rights concerns, or comply with law.

Optional in-app purchases unlock additional capabilities and limits. The purchase screen shows applicable pricing, billing period and eligible introductory offers before confirmation. Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations and eligible refunds under App Store rules. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued; mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.

The app may interoperate with cameras, iPhones, cables, memory cards, Apple services, Supabase, Instagram, websites and other third-party products or services. Those parties control their products and services, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply. Fuji Recipe Studio is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Fujifilm Corporation. FUJIFILM and camera product names belong to their respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app, documentation, compatibility information, content and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, successful or reversible camera commands, universal compatibility, exact colour reproduction, complete metadata or accurate community content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies and liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Access to community services may be restricted for serious or repeated violations. You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion through the available account controls. We may update these terms as features or legal requirements change; material changes may be communicated in the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in another court. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections.
